To do this I created 6 sections and placed the checkboxes in the correct section. Case statements make code efficient and look less messy. I had to write some code where I had a lot of checkboxes and when a user selected a value on a dropdown then some would be shown and the rest would be hidden. Case statements are alternative to multiple if-else statements. It is very similar to if-else, but it can be used in situations where there are more than two choices. Also known as JavaScript switch statement, it is a selection control type that allows the values of a variable or an expression to change the flow of control in. JavaScript has the very broad support of conditional statements. If you’re mixing functions with strings, it might be easier to use a function at all times to save looking up the type and invoking if it’s a function - we don’t want to attempt invoking a String. The switch statement is a control flow construct that allows you to compare an expression with several values and execute different statements based on which one matches. 1) Using JavaScript switch statement to get the day of the week. Let’s take some examples of using the JavaScript switch statement. These are very basic solutions, and the Object literals hold a function that returns a String, in the case you only need a String, you could use a String as the key’s value - some of the time the functions will contain logic, which will get returned from the function.
